Our process
Your 5 day on-site process
A clear plan from the first day of protection to the final walkthrough. Exact timings depend on cabinet size, paint system and drying conditions.

Day 1 — Protect & prep
Worktops, appliances and floors protected. Hardware removed where needed. Cabinets degreased and deep cleaned.

Day 2 — Sanding & repairs
Surfaces keyed and sanded by hand. Any chips, dents or opened joints filled and made good for a flat base.
03
Day 3 — Prime & set
Adhesion primer applied and left to cure. Primer is then sanded smooth so the topcoats have the best possible base.
04
Day 4 — First topcoat
First full topcoat laid on carefully and evenly, with cure time respected before the next stage.
05
Day 5 — Final coat & reinstate
Second topcoat, final snag check, hardware refitted and kitchen handed back clean and ready to use.

Yes. We set up a contained, protected work area inside the kitchen, prep and paint in place, and tidy up each day. No cabinets are taken off site.
You will have limited use of the kitchen for most of the week — especially while primer and topcoats are curing. We plan each day with you so you know what to expect.
With proper prep and a quality cabinet paint system, a well-looked-after kitchen finish holds up for years. Good cleaning habits (no harsh scourers) help it stay looking fresh.
Yes — any RAL, Farrow & Ball, Dulux or bespoke sample. If you are unsure, we can help you shortlist colours that suit the light and style of your kitchen.
We will tell you honestly on the site visit. Minor damage can be filled and painted. Water-damaged or structurally failing doors are a better candidate for replacement — we will not dress up a poor surface.
We usually recommend replacing handles for the best finished result, but we can paint metal handles where suitable. Hinges are cleaned and refitted, not painted.
